"Make dinner for you and your sister," Alisha's mother said, "I won't be home in time." Although it was her first time preparing a full meal, Alisha was no stranger to the kitchen. Armed with her mother's teachings and a dash of natural talent, she set out to create her first two-course meal: curry chicken and white rice.
The excitement of that moment still lingers in our memories - the aroma of spices filling the air, the sizzle of chicken in the pan, and the pride of creating something delicious from scratch. When Alisha's mother returned home, she was amazed not only by the tasty meal but also by the spotless kitchen!
It was in that moment that Alisha discovered her gift. What might have been a chore for most children was a joy for her. With each passing year, guided by her mother's wisdom and her own unique touch, Alisha's passion for cooking only grew stronger.
